It's the Christmas Holidays and I've been pretty busy with shopping, finishing up last minute things before my trip to Europe (which by the way I leave TODAY!) I'm extremely excited and it still seems so surreal to me. This leopard coat my sister bought for me, since she knows how OBSESSIVE I am about leopard print. I will also be travelling in this coat because honestly it is so extremely comfy! I hope to make some posts while I'm away but if not...I'll be back with many pictures <3.

I came across this video about a meditation on love, sex and relationships by Tao Ruspoli starring the fabulous, hilarious and wise Roberta Haze. She is absolutely brilliant, and its safe to say that I can see myself like this at 70.

New In...

I ordered these babies couple days ago and they came in, I'm absolutely in love! I've been looking for this style for a while now, I saw something similar at Zara but unfortunately didn't have my size, and I kept putting it off. Finally I saw them online at Aldo, they're perfect for every day, not a big heel and definitely comfortable, which is key! I especially love the detail of the bow, the mix of the leather and suede. So here they are, I decided to be artsy and display them in a funky manner :).

Lately I've been studying for exams, preparing for my trip to EUROPE...the motherland :) 10 days to be exact. I took some time after studying to take some OOTD pics, my friend chains and blazers did a fabulous job! I've been looking for some cable sweaters and finally found some, they're extremely comfortable (not scratchy at all haha) and so warm...I got a couple in different colours, perfect for the winter season.

Winter Picks...

I went to the drugstore the other day and was in much need of some new nail polishes. I wanted some deep and warm colours for winter, and since I love Essie nail polishes I got some from their limited edition collection. "sew psyched", "lady like" and "carry on". I already painted my nails in the "sew psyched" colour (you'll see in an upcoming post) and I loved it!

Don't be fooled by the sunshine, it was actually quite cold today. I decided to be a little more causal and comfortable today since I woke up freezing! This necklace I'm wearing is one of my favourite statement pieces, I absolutely love the rustic metal with the pearls since I am a pearl lover rather than diamond princess. I blame the little mermaid for captivating me with the ocean as a little girl.

These photos were taken the other day when it was lovely outside, the sun was shining, the breeze was light…it felt like the perfect fall day. I got these combat boots as a gift from my best friend and I absolutely love them! They are my go to boots for any causal occasion because they’re so comfortable and so warm. I’ve been searching for cross earrings for quite some time now and I finally found them a couple weeks ago at aldo accessories, j’adore!

I know I have been absent for the past couple days but that is due to school and work taking up majority of my time. Here is my outfit I wore to a lunch date with a friend in the city. This faux leather jacket I got as a birthday gift from an ex boyfriend and oddly enough it is one of my key pieces that I love. You will also start to notice that I love leopard and the colour red, when in doubt wear leopard or red haha :). The weather is getting colder and colder by the day, which means that winter is fast approaching and makes me cringe…I’ll have to start bundling up more.

GIRL PANIC!

FUR, FEATHERS, SUITS, SEQUENCE, STUDS, LEATHER....Duran Duran’s newest music video, “Girl Panic!” goes back to the 80's and 90's, when glamazons ruled the runway and the best way to get attention for your music video was to cast a pretty model.

The band cast top supermodels Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford, and Eva Herzigova as members of Duran Duran, in a nine-minute music video directed by Jonas Akerlund. The models do interviews and photo shoots as Duran Duran, surrounded by decadence and major couture. I am completely and utterly obsessed with the wardrobe in this video!

Since I forgot to post yesterday due to it being my Saint Day (Slava) I was busy helping my mom prepare what had to be done for the day. By the time the guests have left I was extremely tired to even keep my eyes open, but I swear it was in my agenda to post my second official outfit of the day! Since it is already late (12:30am) I will have to make another post tomorrow so that will be two posts in one day...which means I need to stay on top of things haha. Hopefully I will be using this blog to post about my travels, inspiration, home decor (will be rare), outfit of the day posts, and also some neat things that I come across and would like to share.
